01What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Jetsend uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies on jetsend.eu, in our customer dashboard, and in the merchant Returns Portal. It is a companion to our Privacy Policy - read both for the full picture of what we collect and why.
02What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by the browser when you visit a site. It can store a session identifier, a preference, or a tracking signal. We use the term "cookie" loosely to also include similar technologies - localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, and pixel tags - because the law treats them the same way.
Cookies are either first-party (set by us, on the .jetsend.eu third-party domain) or another service we embed. We list every third party in §6.
03Categories we use
We group cookies into four categories. The first is required; the other three need your consent.
- Strictly necessary - sign-in, security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choice.
- Preferences - language, currency, units, recent searches, dashboard layout.
- Analytics - aggregated, IP-truncated product analytics so we can fix what's slow or confusing.
- Marketing - measures whether ads on Google led to a sign-up. When you opt out, Google still receives an anonymized ping (no identifier) used only for aggregate campaign measurement; it cannot be linked back to you.
04Cookie inventory
A live list of every cookie set on your browser is generated nightly and published below. Names prefixed with js_ are first-party Jetsend cookies.
4.1. Strictly necessary
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| jetsend-consent | Stores your cookie preferences so we don't ask again. | 12 months | Jetsend |
| cf_clearance | Bot-protection challenge token issued by our edge provider. | 30 days | Cloudflare |
4.2. Marketing
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_aw | Attributes a sign-up to a Google Ads click. | 90 days |
05Your preferences
Set your consent below. Choices apply across the Jetsend domain. You can return to this panel from the footer Cookie Policy link at any time.
06Third-party services
We embed a small number of third-party tools. Each is loaded only when the relevant consent category is enabled.
- Cloudflare
- Edge security and bot protection. Required.
- Google Ads
- Conversion tracking. With Marketing consent, sets the _gcl_aw cookie. Without consent, an anonymized cookieless ping is still sent to Google: no cookie, no identifier, no IP. Used only for aggregate modeled conversions that estimate campaign performance without tracking individuals.
07Managing cookies in your browser
Beyond the Jetsend preferences panel, you can also clear cookies or block them entirely in your browser. Doing so may break sign-in, the Shipment Manager, and saved drafts.
08Changes to this policy
When the cookie inventory changes - for example, when we add or remove a third-party tool - we update the version number above and re-prompt for consent if a new category is introduced. Material changes are also announced via the dashboard banner.
